Bullying Stops Here - Programs for Our Children's Confidence

Come with me as I chat with Suzanne Jean Director of Fit4Defense who conceived and now operates PowerED, a holistic life program that inspires confidence in participants to be heard, safe in the community and free from abuse through assertive communication and self-defense. The life-changing transformations she witnessed while teaching PowerED inspired her to write her powerful book, “Bullying Stops Here,” in which she shares the true stories of persons who converted fear into confidence, self-reliance, and positive action through the skills acquired in the program.

The program provides information and techniques to gain life and leadership skills, improve communication and manage anger for the purpose of violence prevention, increased safety and risk reduction. It helps to transform fear into confidence, self-reliance, and action.

Over 50 years in social services and Member of Canadian Professional Speakers Association

Suzanne has empowered thousands of children, youth and seniors to stand strong, communicate their rights and stay safe.

Robert Adleman

I am a 64-year-old male with ADHD, OCD, severe depression, severe  anxiety, and dyslexia. I struggled for 40 years working in the high-pressured Information technology field. Even though it was good money, I didn't have much luck in the financial department.
In 1991, at the age of 33, was when the severe anxiety attack occurred, and the support system was not there to handle it. So, I checked myself in to a mental hospital in Piscataway, NJ. That started my long road to recovery. After the attack, I was severely depressed and anxious for 6 months. This experience is detailed in episode four "Beating Severe Anxiety/Depression".
