You are Deathless – The Hope You Were Looking for

This episode is one of my favorite interviews. I talk to an amazing woman named Nicole Kerr. She wrote the book about her near-death experience (NDE) called “You Are Deathless: A Near-Death Experience Taught Me How to Fully Live and Not Fear Death”. Even if you don’t belief in life after death, the spiritual message expressed in this episode is powerful.

The show runs a little long, but the time goes fast, and I couldn’t find anything I wanted to cut out. It’s a must listen to episode.

Nicole Kerr was a 19-year-old air force cadet in 1983 who took a ride home with a man she met at a party off base. He had a Corvette convertible, and he was drunk - 2x over the limit . Nicole had both feet up on the dash when they hit. She went flying through the windshield, badly cutting her legs and hitting the ground hard.

However, Nicole could not remember the accident until the memory suddenly came back to her all at once 19 years later. The event inspired her to write a book about her NDE.

Also, we talk about her troubles with her parents, especially with her ex-marine dad who she still does not get along with. She wants to spread the word that death is not the end and that we should each not fear death and to start or continue our spiritual journey through our life on earth.

Being a scientist myself, it’s hard for me to belief, but even so, the message of love and hope is inspirational.

I am a 64-year-old male with ADHD, OCD, severe depression, severe  anxiety, and dyslexia. I struggled for 40 years working in the high-pressured Information technology field. Even though it was good money, I didn't have much luck in the financial department.
In 1991, at the age of 33, was when the severe anxiety attack occurred, and the support system was not there to handle it. So, I checked myself in to a mental hospital in Piscataway, NJ. That started my long road to recovery. After the attack, I was severely depressed and anxious for 6 months. This experience is detailed in episode four "Beating Severe Anxiety/Depression".
